Office Etiquette & Policies

My goal is to offer a calm, supportive space where you can fully relax and feel at ease. The guidelines below help ensure a smooth and respectful experience for everyone.

What to Expect

• My office is small and quiet, without a receptionist. When you arrive, please enter softly, hang your jacket, remove your shoes, and take a seat. I will greet you shortly.

• Please plan to arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment. First-time clients may want to arrive 10 minutes early to get settled. Sessions begin at the scheduled start time, and late arrivals may result in a shortened session while the full fee still applies.

• You will be appropriately draped at all times during your session. I may ask that you remain in your undergarments.

• Masking is optional. I am happy to follow your preference.

• For everyone’s safety, I may decline service if you arrive under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or if important health information has not been shared in advance.

• This practice maintains a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior. Any behavior that feels unsafe or disrespectful will result in the session ending immediately.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments are reserved especially for you. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

• 75% fee for illness-related cancellations less than two hours before your appointment

• 75% fee for cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice

• 100% fee for cancellations within 2 hours of your appointment or for no-shows

If you are sick or experience an emergency, please call or text 734-502-1001 as soon as possible so I can adjust my schedule.

Other Policies:

• If you are booking a massage because you have a recent injury, accident, or surgery and treatment is covered by insurance including massage, please see an office that accepts and bills the insurance company, such as a chiropractor. I do not work with insurance companies. Occasionally insurance companies allow massage to be covered under HSA. I do accept HSA cards, but there is no guarantee the card will not decline, so please have another form of payment ready and available at the time of service.
• I do see minors, however parents MUST remain present and in the building for the entire massage. For anyone under the age of 16, parents MUST remain in the room.
